The Drillco 1318 series extra-long length drill bit is made from high-speed steel with a black oxide finish and has a 118-degree conventional point for general purpose use. The extra-long length drill bit has a long length for deep hole depths and hard-to-reach areas. High-speed steel (HSS) provides hardness for wear resistance, and the black oxide finish reduces wear while promoting chip and coolant flow. The round shank accommodates most drill chucks.
