This kit includes ten white 2-gallon buckets with white snap-on lids. Dimensions are approximately 10" square (perhaps 10-1/2" with handle) by about 7-1/2" high to the rim without the lid installed. Add about 1/4" with the lid installed. Inside dimensions are about 9" square by 7-1/4" deep. Lids fit snug without gasket for storage of dry product (not liquids). Lids have tamper evident tear-tab. Lid can be re-used. These are 65 mil buckets and not the lighter weight 55mil. Stronger for stacking. A great storage solution. Buckets are food-grade plastic. Lids have tear strips. Typical initial installation is with a rubber mallet. Lids will lock on. To remove the lid, first remove the tear strip by grasping the end and pulling/peeling off around the perimeter of the lid. The tabs are then free to flex and the lid can be removed and re-installed as needed. Engagement can be firm. Use of a 'lid wrench' or 'lid lifter' (available separately) can make it easier for those of us without the hand strength of our youth.
